I am grateful to have you on here today.
A few months ago, we completed the second edition of the Brave Series, I must say, it’s been an interesting journey ever since.
As we come to the end of the year, I believe it is important that we become aware of certain key knowledge, hence, throughout this month as we go into the new year, I hope to provide you with back to back write-ups with the hope that it will stir you up to attain higher goals for the coming year.
Firstly, let’s talk about the fear of the Unknown, it’s no doubt that this year has brought us unprecedented events as many lives were lost in ways that brought alarm to us, many jobs lost, houses flooded or burned down, students forced to school from home and graduate virtually and so on. This year was just different. One may then think, if this year, which marks the beginning of a decade could be this way, how much more next year and years to come, thereby creating fear; the fear of not knowing what next to expect and the rise of concerns.
Well, while it is natural for you to be concerned. What are you going to do about this concern? I know you don’t have a superpower, you may not have the resources for what you think you will see in the coming year, friends may have left you, perhaps there is no hope left in you, hmm, but there is a solution, and it lies within you.
I want to remind you today who you are, created for greatness and so despite how things may seem to turn out, whatever seems to be coming your way, I want to suggest to you three (3) major things to do to bury this fear you may have and take charge of this month and months to come in the new year.
- Pray; you must not allow fear to confuse your steps to achieving and walking in your destiny.
Don’t you know the power and authority you have in the secret place as a child of God? Have you forgotten that your words carry the power to change and alter circumstances? The word of God says, Son of man, prophesy! Ezekiel 37: 4-10 AMP, ” 4 Again He said to me, “Prophesy to these bones and say to them, ‘O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord.’ 5 Thus says the Lord God to these bones, ‘Behold, I will make breath enter you so that you may come to life. 6 I will put sinews on you, make flesh grow back on you, cover you with skin, and I will put breath in you so that you may come alive; and you will know that I am the Lord.’” 7 So I prophesied as I was commanded; and as I prophesied, there was a [thundering] noise, and behold, a rattling; and the bones came together, bone to its bone. 8 And I looked, and behold, there were sinews on the bones, and flesh grew and skin covered them; but there was no breath in them. 9 Then He said to me, “Prophesy to the breath, son of man, and say to the breath, ‘Thus says the Lord God, “Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe on these slain, that they may live.”’” 10 So I prophesied as He commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they came to life and stood up on their feet, an exceedingly great army.
My dear Reader, prophesy! Job 38:36 NLT says, “Who gives intuition to the heart and instinct to the mind? “. It’s not a mistake that you may feel concerned as you have been given intuition and instinct by God for a reason, it will be a mistake on your path rather if you don’t channel your concerns to your upliftments. Do not allow the fear of tomorrow to subdue the strength you have to pray today! Speak what you want to see into reality! Do not stop praying until you see results! Uproot forces and let there be Light! For you and your family! It’s possible once you have faith! C’mon! Begin to pray, don’t stop till you encounter results, and please, write down your prayer request and pray it, testimonies shall spring forth for you and your loved ones. Amen.
PS: Please, if you have not surrendered your life to Jesus Christ yet, please do, do it, now is your time, Pray to God and ask Jesus to come into your life, declare that you believe in Him. 🔥🔥
- Plan: Now, you have prayed and accepted Jesus into your life, you need to plan for the year ahead. What are your expectations for the upcoming year, and how do you plan to achieve them? You have decreed what you want to see right? Now, please plan to receive what you have prayed for in the coming months. Yes, this year, a major topic discussed on this blog is the power of planning. Get a paper, sit down, and plan how you will maintain the things you shall receive.
3. Prepare, do and achieve, as a human being, one thing you must understand about life is that situations will arise to make you disbelieve and fall into losing hope in your dreams and plans for life (this month and the months to come). If you set goals for yourself to be achieved this year, keep believing and work towards achieving them! The year is not over! Next year as well, as you expect things to work well, do not stop believing or doing what you ought to despite how things around you seem. Your consistent actions despite limitations are what make you stand out and differentiates you from others.
This is a charge for you my dear reader, step out and achieve! The fear of the unknown may arise, but, the reality of the unknown shall favor you as you pray, plan, prepare, act, and achieve.
