With God, All Things Are Possible

Hello Soldier,

It’s been 10 days into the new year, and for many of us, work or school has fully resumed. The initial enthusiasm that accompanied goal setting during the holidays may now face the challenge of practicality. The prospect of launching that side business or excelling in exams while managing other responsibilities might seem daunting. Thoughts like, “What an unrealistic goal I must have set for myself,” may cross your mind.

It’s important to note that as a Christian Soldier, the solutions and perspectives I offer may not align with everyone’s norms, and that’s perfectly fine. As a Christian and a follower of Jesus Christ, there is a fundamental principle you must adhere to at all times: follow the Shepherd’s voice. Regardless of what term you use, the question remains: What did the Master say? When you entered this new year, what instructions did your Father (God) provide for you as a part of the body of Christ?

It’s crucial to understand that you play a significant role, no matter how small it may seem. Just like Queen Esther, Moses, Hannah, King David, Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego, Elijah, Elisha, Jonah, Deborah (the wife of Lapidot), and many others played their parts, you too have a unique role within the system designed to be used for the Master’s purpose. Therefore, you should have a blueprint for the year based on His guidance.

If you haven’t already, take the time to go into your secret place, seeking guidance and carefully planning as the Master has instructed you. Just as in any office where goals are achieved through strategies, mitigation plans, and partnerships, approach the tasks God has given you with grit and seriousness. Plan for success with the confidence that, despite the apparent workload overshadowing or consuming you, you have set plans in place to see God’s instructions come to pass.

Consider Moses as an example. Despite his initial hesitation and speech impediment, I believe he was trained by God in the wilderness to use the rod he had for the Master’s purpose. He stuck to the plan despite numerous challenges and oppositions, and God backed him up.

“When God is in it, all things are possible” doesn’t just speak of miracles. It means that with God, you can finish the course He has set for you, even when you feel mentally weak. Absolutely, you can secure that job God spoke to you about by diligently following His guidance and tips. As you seek His counsel and apply the principles He reveals to you, you position yourself for success in the path He has set before you. Trust in His wisdom, and through your obedience and faith, doors can open, and opportunities can unfold according to His divine plan. You can also complete that building or accomplish any task because God is the one backing you up. He sent you, and He will help you. Trust in His guidance and lean on His strength.

GOD’S INSTRUCTIONS + OBEDIENCE DESPITE HURDLES = GOD’S BACK UP AND TANGIBLE RESULTS

Take these words literally; it’s not just about motivation but practicality. He can support you every step of the way. God does not send you to do what you CAN NOT but what you CAN. This is what it means to submit to Him. Don’t hastily discard that side business. Bring it to the Master, let Him sift through it, and allow Him to guide you in playing your role in His body.

With God, every single thing; all plans, businesses, and ideas are not only possible but achievable.

Just when I thought my night couldn’t get any more intriguing, a ping on my phone stole the spotlight. It was a friend, armed with a video that seemed custom-made for the words I had just penned. Coincidence? I think not. Now, I won’t spill the beans just yet. When you’re ready for an extra dose of wisdom, hit play on the video. It’s like God conspired to bring you a seamless blend of written and visual enlightenment. Trust me, it’s worth it.)

Yours,
